Indy Pride Fest

June 8, 2008

I apologize for not being around throughout the history making of the recent political news but I have been ill so therefore, I had to take a break from things. But to keep you up to date..forget all the states Clinton has one because yesterday she ceded and is now endorsing Obama. Looks like all that campaigning didn’t do anything. Wrong, it did a lot. It brought people involved into politics and changed the face of this nation about who can run for the most sought after job in America. It seems funny though, that there should even be a race between McCain and Obama because Obama can do for the Democratic party what we have always wanted, which is unite it. Which is why I’m not worried about the Clinton supporters switching over to the Obama side, sure some will just stay home on voting day and watch McCain dominate and when he keeps doing what Bush has been doing they have absolutely no right to stand up and complain. Wouldn’t you want to be a part of an administration full of changes that are for a better America? Than go vote for Obama. At least you’re putting a Democrat in that office, with the endorsement of Hillary.

The subject line of this entry is something I would also like to discuss. Indianapolis Gay Pride Festival is going on June 13-15, but I will be working the Democratic booth on the 14 from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, this is when all the major festivities will be going on and I would love to see a major turn out of people wanting to register and I’ll be selling buttons I’ve made endorsing Obama. But this booth isn’t just for the presidential candidate we’ll be handing out information about local politics which is just as important as presidency. So if you get the opportunity please stop by. I feel very honored to be running the booth and have already put a lot of my time in trying to make it the best it can be. Whether your gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered or just straight please please please come out.
